Space Shuttle Discovery Docks with International Space Station

Discovery (STS-124) docked with the Harmony module of the International Space Station (ISS) Monday at 2:03 PM EDT (1803 GMT), preparing to add a new Japanese module (named Kibo).  Michael Fossum and Ronald Garan plan to do a spacewalk Tuesday to install the module and retrieve an inspection boom left behind at the station by the previous shuttle mission.

Space Shuttle Endeavour Launch Delayed 24 Hours to Wednesday

A cabin air leak aboard space shuttle Endeavour was traced overnight to one of two pressure-relief valves in Endeavour’s crew cabin, located behind the toilet but separate from the bathroom plumbing.  It is being replaced with one taken from the space shuttle Atlantis, and then tested.  All the extra work is expected to be completed in time for Endeavour’s planned liftoff Tuesday.
